Finstech is partnering with their public sector client in Ipswich to find an experienced Fire Safety Manager at a truly exciting time. Our client is mid-way through a £10 million fire safety improvement programme across a portfolio of 7,800 homes and 15 sheltered schemes ? and they need the right expert to lead it.

This is a senior, high-impact role with real influence, a significant budget and the opportunity to shape fire safety strategy from the ground up. What You'll Be Doing Acting as principal Duty Holder for fire safety across the entire housing portfolio Leading and developing a team of Fire Safety Surveyors Managing a £10m improvement programme, supplier contracts and procurement Developing and implementing fire safety strategies, policies and site-specific plans Conducting and overseeing Fire Risk Assessments across all properties Serving as the primary liaison with Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service Ensuring full compliance with the Fire Safety Order 2005, Fire Safety Act 2021 and Building Safety Act 2022 Reporting performance to senior management and elected members What We're Looking For Relevant fire safety qualifications (IFE, NEBOSH Fire, Level 4 FRA or equivalent) Proven experience in a senior fire safety role, ideally within social housing or the public sector Strong knowledge of current fire safety legislation Experience xehkeey managing budgets, contracts and multi-disciplinary teams Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills The Package Competitive salary Career average pension scheme Generous holiday & sick pay Hybrid & flexible working Free gym & swimming membership Cycle scheme, parking & travel discounts Employee Assistance Programme Excellent CPD & development opportunities
