Location: London (Hybrid – approx. 3 days in the office / 2 days at home)An established and highly respected not‑for‑profit organisation is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to play a key role in driving financial strategy, sustainability, and performance.This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional with strong FP&A experience to join a purpose‑led organisation and contribute to meaningful, mission‑driven work.The RoleReporting to the Associate Director of Finance, you will lead on financial planning, analysis, and business partnering across the organisation. You will provide strategic insight to support decision‑making while ensuring robust financial controls and compliance.Key responsibilities include:Leading the annual budgeting process and ongoing reforecasting cyclesDelivering high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportingDeveloping financial models to support strategic initiatives and decision‑makingPartnering with senior stakeholders to provide insight, challenge, and supportStrengthening financial controls, processes, and compliance (including charity regulations)Supporting audit processes and statutory reportingAssisting with cash‑flow forecasting and treasury oversightLeading and developing a small finance teamDriving finance training and improving financial literacy across the organisationAbout YouYou will be a commercially minded and analytically strong finance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment.Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysisBackground in not‑for‑profit, public sector, or similarly complex organisationsStrong financial modelling and advanced Excel skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholdersExperience managing or mentoring staffKnowledge of charity accounting (e.g. SORP, fund accounting)Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Business Central) and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)Exposure to healthcare or mission‑led organisationsFJWilson Talent Services encourages applications from all suitably qualified and eligible candidates who represent the full diversity of communities in the UK.
