Impact and Responsibilities We are looking for a commercially-minded finance professional to take ownership of our financial planning, reporting, and strategic analysis. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex data and actionable insights, ensuring our leadership team has the clarity needed to drive growth.
Strategic Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and develop rolling forecasts across all cost centers and revenue streams, identifying the key drivers that move the needle. Performance Narrative: Own the monthly P&L process. You won't just report the numbers; you'll analyse variances and articulate the "why" behind the risks and opportunities. Commercial Insight: Oversee complex revenue and margin analysis-including FX, interest, and commission structures-to ensure our commercial decisions are backed by rigorous data. Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a financial advisor to operational teams, providing scenario modeling and decision support for pricing, investments, and scaling initiatives. Systems and Modeling: Maintain and evolve our 3-statement financial models, ensuring seamless integration between our forecasts and NetSuite. Process Excellence: Champion automation and data integrity. You'll refine billing, reporting, and control processes to keep our finance function lean and scalable.
What we're looking for in you
Fully or part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent deep experience in the field. Advanced Excel modeling skills are a must; experience with NetSuite and Solution 7 is a significant plus. At least 3 years in a dedicated FP&A role, ideally within a SME or the Financial Services sector. A track record of linking operational metrics to financial outcomes and managing complex cash/interest oversight. Play a crucial in driving innovation and efficiency, ready to tackle any challenge and adapt to evolving business requirements. Be empowered to influence decisions and seize opportunities for innovation. Demonstrate knowledge of security threats relevant to your function while maintaining an understanding and application of data handling procedures and access control principles specific to their role. You'll be familiar with basic compliance requirements affecting your work. Consistently demonstrate our values in daily interactions.
