Financial Operations Manager
Location: Crewe (Onsite/Hybrid)
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 plus bonus and benefits
Via is supporting a growing organisation in the search for an experienced Financial Operations Manager to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of financial processes, partnering with stakeholders, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of finance operations.
Youll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support month-end processes, including preparation and review of management accounts
Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Review and approve supplier invoices, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Support procurement processes and cost control initiatives
Provide financial insight and reporting to support business decision-making
What Were Looking For:
Proven experience in financial operations and management accounting
Strong experience with general ledger management and reconciliations
Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
Confident reviewing supplier invoices and managing approvals
Exposure to procurement activities is advantageous - more important is the desire to expand you knowledge into new areas
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a similar role
Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
