FINANCIAL CONTROLLER – HAYDOCK – TEMP (3 months) – PAYING UP TO £65K DOE
We are working on behalf of a well-established and growing business to recruit an experienced and highly organised Financial Controller to oversee all finance and accounting operations within the business, while managing and supporting a small team of three. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing timely monthly and year-end financial reports for the Group, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, consolidated reporting packs, and key reports such as inventory depreciation and inter-company matching.
You will play a key role in audits, compliance, and reporting by liaising with external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring all statutory filings and company returns are completed accurately and on time, and overseeing HMRC submissions including VAT, PAYE, and P11Ds, as well as Irish Revenue VAT and Relevant Contracts Tax returns.
In addition, you will support senior leadership with budgeting and forecasting, prepare cashflow forecasts, manage daily cash, and conduct detailed sales and margin analysis. The role involves maintaining fixed asset registers and overseeing accruals, prepayments, and inventory accounting.
