Role - Financial Controller Location - Oldham Salary - Between £82,000 - £95,000

\nMarks Sattin are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to work for a fast-growing, acquisitive services organisation working at their offices based just outside Oldham.
\n
\nThe successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified and ideally have been trained within an accountancy practice. A strong technical accounting background is essential as is a knowledge around IFRS accounting standards. Management of staff is also crucial as the Financial Controller role will supervise and develop a financial accounting and transaction team. Any exposure to working within a PE backed business would be a distinct advantage. Key duties for the Financial Controller role will involve:

  • Lead and manage the financial accounting and transactional teams
    • \n\t
  • Oversee preparation of weekly, monthly and annual financial statements
    • \n\t
  • Lead on month-end reporting
    • \n\t
  • Monitor and manage cashflow
    • \n\t
  • Lead on the external audit process
    • \n\t
  • Process improvements
    • \n\t
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting process
    • \n\t
  • Look to integrate financial processes within the wider group
    • \n\t
  • Provide senior management with financial information
    • \n\t
  • Ad-hoc project work
    • \n
\n\n

Salary for the role is up to £90,000 + additional benefits
