Your opportunity We are currently looking for a Finance Manager, in this position, you will be responsiblefor the processing and initial reporting of financial and operationalperformance and the management & supervision of thedailyaccountingprocesses. This post is fixed term up to February 2027 with an immediate start. Where youll be You will be located at our Belfast site, and you should be within reasonable commuting distance from here. What youll be doing To manage and support all areas of the Finance Team including Accounts Payable, Receivable, and operational accounting plus reception Support development of all team members including carrying out half yearly and annual performance reviews with objective setting Month end completion including: timely closing of all sub ledgers reviewing accruals and prepayments calculation and posting of all depreciation and amortisation review of all WIP jobs and confirmation of status/update as required to get final valuation raising of all group hosted employee recharge invoices and posting to general ledger collation of all other journals required including wages control and pension and stock movements loading of TB into group reporting system and updating mapping for new accounts adjusting for management journals on group reporting system and quarterly tax workbooks review of netting settlements for intercompany invoices completion of management accounts file Balance Sheet Review of quarterly VAT returns completed by junior accountant Review of monthly intrastat returns completed by junior accountant Monthly payroll processing and pension contribution Monthly balance sheet reviews and reconciliations Monthly review of all GL codes and liaison with departments responsible for spend to ensure correct coding Oversight and management of the fixed asset register including working with operations and maintenance teams for requisition approval of new assets and managing additions and disposals to the register Expenses management checking and processing of claims Overview of company credit card account including reconciliation and posting of spend Bank account management including putting on and authorisation of payments and overseeing foreign currency balance requirements and liaising with Group Treasury for currency purchases as required Responsibility for statutory payments including Corporation Tax and VAT Managing all data requests for Group and Statutory Audits and being the main point of contact for external auditors Being a main point of contact for all data requests relating to internal audit or other external audits e.g. HMRC Assist in the annual budgeting process with provision of payroll and staffing data What youll bring to the role Essential Criteria A minimum of a 2:1 Hons degree CIMA, ACA or equivalent qualification with at least 3 years relevant manufacturing PQE. Able to work methodically with attention to detail, Systematic, analytical and organised, Organisational proficiency and ability to balance multiple demands, Ability to meet deadlines, Sound judgement and decision-making skills, Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport at all levels of the organisation, Highly motivated and able to build close relationships internally and externally, Adaptable, flexible and able to handle time-pressure situations, Highly computer literate. Good knowledge of UK and International accounting standards Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, Personable and approachable, Self-motivated, Work on own initiative, Willingness to take on new opportunities and develop, Effective team player, Able to portray a professional image through approach and appearance.
