Finance Manager - Leicester - Permanent - £40,000 - £50,000 An established, privately owned SME is seeking a hands on Finance Manager to take ownership of day to day financial control and provide improved commercial visibility to the business. The rolewill suit someone who enjoys being close to the detail and adding value through robust financial management. Working closely with the business owner, this role will play a key part in strengthening controls, improving reporting and supporting operational decision making in a fast paced environment. The role will include: Preparation and coordination of accounts, including invoicing, VAT submissionsand accruals
Full oversight of inventory management, ensuring stock levels, valuation and invoicing are accurately controlled
Management of cash accounting activities, including responsibility for third party cash in transit providers and government related contracts
Payroll preparation
Improving visibility across cash flow, debtors, revenue streams and overall profitability
Managing and developing a small transactional finance team covering AP, AR and invoicing
Acting as a key finance partner to operational and commercial teams
