A highly regarded Multi-Academy Trust in the East Midlands is seeking an experienced finance professional to join their team as a Finance Business Partner. This is a full -time, hybrid working, permanent position based centrally, with travel to schools across the Trust.The RoleAs a Finance Business Partner you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial planning, reporting, and business partnering support across the schools in the Trust.Key responsibilities include:Leading Trust-wide financial planning, budgeting, and forecastingProducing accurate monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and financial reportsDelivering clear, narrative-driven insights to senior leaders, governors, and committeesProviding scenario modelling and cost-efficiency analysis to inform strategic decisionsActing as a trusted finance advisor to headteachers and school leadership teamsEmbedding consistent financial processes, controls, and systems across the TrustTranslating complex financial information into clear, practical advice for non-finance colleaguesTeam management and developmentAbout YouBe a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)Have relevant experience in financial management, planning, and reporting within educationDemonstrate the ability to prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and consolidate management accountsPossess strong analytical skills, with the ability to provide meaningful variance analysis and recommendationsWhy join?This role offers a genuine opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a values-driven organisation committed to financial sustainability, accountability, and excellence in education.
