Finance Business Partner - Hybrid working

A highly regarded Multi-Academy Trust in the East Midlands is seeking an experienced finance professional to join their team as a Finance Business Partner. This is a full -time, hybrid working, permanent position based centrally, with travel to schools across the Trust.
The Role
As a Finance Business Partner you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial planning, reporting, and business partnering support across the schools in the Trust.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading Trust-wide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Producing accurate monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and financial reports
Delivering clear, narrative-driven insights to senior leaders, governors, and committees
Providing scenario modelling and cost-efficiency analysis to inform strategic decisions
Acting as a trusted finance advisor to headteachers and school leadership teams
Embedding consistent financial processes, controls, and systems across the Trust
Translating complex financial information into clear, practical advice for non-finance colleagues
Team management and development
About You
Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
Have relevant experience in financial management, planning, and reporting within education
Demonstrate the ability to prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and consolidate management accounts
Possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to provide meaningful variance analysis and recommendations
