What is the role?
This will be a varied role, which will require the role holder to carry out varied finance tasks.
What you'll do a Finance Assistant
Weekly cheque run for customer payments, expenses etc
Assistance with monthly reports eg Bank Reconciliations, PAYE
Assistance with maintaining the Sales Ledger
Management of utility bills
Processing of Subcontractor and/or Purchase Ledger invoices
Working closely with the Buying Team to match Purchase Orders & Invoices
Liaising with suppliers and dealing with queries
Any other accounting duties reasonably required by the Finance Manager
What experience do I need?
Experience in a similar accounting role would be beneficial
Previous experience in the construction industry would be an advantage but not essential
Experience of using Microsoft applications especially Excel
Must be organised, diligent and able to work under pressure
