This role is ideal for a candidate with strong transactional finance or cashiering experience who is looking to further develop their career within a structured, professional finance environment, with excellent support and long-term progression opportunities available. About the Job Working within a busy finance team, this candidate will report to the Financial Controllers and will share responsibility for the daily banking and transactional activity of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties: Maintaining complete and accurate bank account records Keying, posting, and co-authorising electronic payments in line with strict cut-off times Liaising with colleagues (including professional staff) and branch banking teams to record receipt of transactional funds Posting client cash to ledgers, including direct debits and supplier payments Reconciling multiple bank accounts on a daily basis Arranging foreign currency payments Treasury duties, including moving funds between bank accounts to ensure appropriate balances Your Skills & Experience Minimum of 1 years experience working in a busy transactional role with strict cut-off times Previous cashiering or bookkeeping experience Experience working within a finance team Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, and Teams Experience using computerised accounting software Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proactive approach with the ability to use initiative to keep own and others work current For further information on this opportunity, or if you are considering the next step in your finance career, get in touch with Ollie Mairs at HireIQ in complete confidence.
