Accounts Assistant / Finance Officer - Register of Interest

VANRATH are working with a range of employers across Northern Ireland who are keen to strengthen and add to their finance teams in 2026. As a result, we're keen to speak with Accounts Assistants and Assistant Accountants who may be open to hearing about current and upcoming opportunities across Belfast, Ballymena, Dungannon, Newry and surrounding areas. These opportunities will span a variety of sectors, with some employers offering study support and progression. What you'll do Responsibilities will vary depending on the role, but may include: Supporting day-to-day finance operations Assisting with month-end close and reconciliations Processing invoices and maintaining ledger accuracy Supporting VAT returns and payroll processes Working closely with accountants and finance managers About you Experience in an accounts or transactional finance role Comfortable using Excel and accounting software Strong attention to detail and organisation skills Keen to progress within finance or accounting Next steps If you're considering your next move in 2026, we'd be keen to speak with you.
