OB TITLE - EYFS Teaching AssistantABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and proactive EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a warm and supportive Primary School based in Bristol.The school is known for its nurturing Early Years provision and strong focus on child-centred learning. Staff work collaboratively to create a stimulating environment where children can explore, develop, and thrive.

This is a long-term position with the potential to extend or transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.

CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS

• Location: Bristol
• Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant
• Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
• Pay Rate: £90 - £110 per day
• Hours: 8:20am - 3:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this EYFS TA role, candidates must have:

• Experience working in a UK education setting - mandatory
• Confidence working with children aged 3-5, supporting early learning and development
• Understanding of the EYFS curriculum, early phonics, and play-based learning
• Experience supporting children with additional needs (Autism, Speech & Language, SEMH) is desirable
• A warm, nurturing approach with the ability to build trust and rapport
• Knowledge of positive behaviour strategies and early social development
• Up-to-date safeguarding training (can be provided by Prospero)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE WITH PROSPERO, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
• Be able to provide 24 months of employment references, including a child-related reference
• Have strong spoken and written English
