OB TITLE - EYFS Teaching Assistant
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and proactive EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a warm and supportive Primary School based in Bristol. The school is known for its nurturing Early Years provision and strong focus on child‑centred learning. Staff work collaboratively to create a stimulating environment where children can explore, develop, and thrive.
This is a long‑term position with the potential to extend or transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS
Location: Bristol Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant Type: Full‑Time (Monday-Friday) Pay Rate: £90 - £110 per day Hours: 8:20am - 3:30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for this EYFS TA role, candidates must have:
Experience working in a UK education setting - mandatory Confidence working with children aged 3-5, supporting early learning and development Understanding of the EYFS curriculum, early phonics, and play‑based learning Experience supporting children with additional needs (Autism, Speech & Language, SEMH) is desirable A warm, nurturing approach with the ability to build trust and rapport Knowledge of positive behaviour strategies and early social development Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (can be provided by Prospero)
