Our client, a global leader in Freight Forwarding is now recruiting for a European Transport Clerk based at Trafford Park
Your role will involve handling all operational aspects/queries from new and existing accounts. Liaising with both external and internal customers, suppliers etc. Ensuring an excellent customer service and smooth and efficient shipment of goods.
Main responsibilities * Provide quotations for export & import EU trailer movements. * Arrange collection and deliveries * Ensure correct data taken from client * Check on specific country regulations for procedures * For new customers, set up credit account * Put job on system and raise documentation * Documentation * Distribute confirmations etc * Complete Paperwork, customs docs, etc * Liaise with suppliers, transport etc * Issue Instructions for CMR, insurance certificates, etc * Confirm shipment
Experience required
In order to apply for this role you will have European road freight experience gained from a freight forwarder
