Our client, a global leader in Freight Forwarding is now recruiting for a European Transport Clerk based at Trafford ParkYour role will involve handling all operational aspects/queries from new and existing accounts. Liaising with both external and internal customers, suppliers etc. Ensuring an excellent customer service and smooth and efficient shipment of goods.Main responsibilities * Provide quotations for export & import EU trailer movements. * Arrange collection and deliveries * Ensure correct data taken from client* Check on specific country regulations for procedures* For new customers, set up credit account* Put job on system and raise documentation* Documentation* Distribute confirmations etc* Complete Paperwork, customs docs, etc* Liaise with suppliers, transport etc* Issue Instructions for CMR, insurance certificates, etc* Confirm shipmentExperience requiredIn order to apply for this role you will have European road freight experience gained from a freight forwarderSalary and Benefits * Salary £28,000 to £32,000 dependent upon experience * Flexible working hours: 3 working patterns you can choose from - of 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm & 10am - 6 pm (with 45 min lunch break)* Holidays: 25 days, plus the bank holidays and for each 5 years' service an extra day's holiday up to a max of 30 days per annum* Contributory Pension* Life Assurance 4 x Salary* Occupational Health Plan* Free drinks* Free parking* Employee Assistance Programme* Cycle to Work Scheme* Discounts on International Hotel chainJBRP1_UKTJ
