Kolt Recruitment are looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join a busy Accident Repair Centre in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled bodyshop professional to work in a modern workshop, producing accurate repair estimates and ensuring efficient repair processes for a variety of vehicles.\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Accurately assess vehicle damage and create repair estimates using Audatex (or similar estimating systems).\n\n * Produce detailed repair reports and costings for insurers and customers.\n\n * Liaise with insurers, engineers, and customers to authorise repair work.\n\n * Work closely with workshop teams to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.\n\n * Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and industry regulations.\n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator within a bodyshop or accident repair environment.\n\n * ATA VDA Accreditation (desirable but not essential for experienced candidates).\n\n * Strong knowledge of modern repair methods and estimating software.\n\n * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.\n\n * Full UK driving licence.\n\nIf you would like any further information on this role please call or contact Kolt Recruitment
