About the role
Reporting to the Sales Manager - Strategic Accounts, you will be a key member of our high-performing sales team, responsible for managing and growing relationships with a portfolio of SFG20's most strategic accounts.
You will act as a trusted advisor, understanding their business needs and guiding them on leveraging our solutions best to achieve their objectives. You will focus on maximising our impact within these top-tier enterprise accounts, driving deeper engagement and broader adoption of our offerings.
The role will require travel once a month to our Newcastle Offices.
Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management:
Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within strategic accounts, acting as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
Develop a deep understanding of each client's business goals, challenges, and priorities.
Proactively identify and address client needs, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
Act as an advocate for your clients within SFG20, ensuring their feedback is heard and addressed.
Account Growth:
Drive account growth by securing new sales and maximising renewal opportunities across the SFG20 product portfolio, with a focus on top-tier enterprise accounts.
Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within each account, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
Develop and execute tailored account strategies that align with customer goals and deliver exceptional value.
Champion customer advocacy, ensuring their feedback is heard and addressed effectively.
Become a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on how to leverage SFG20 solutions to optimise building maintenance practices.
Maintain a customer-centric approach in all interactions, prioritising client satisfaction and building long-term partnerships.
Communication & Collaboration:
Maintain effective communication with clients, providing regular updates and responding promptly to their inquiries.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Customer Success, Product Development) to ensure seamless client experience and support.
Represent SFG20 professionally at industry events and conferences, building relationships and promoting our solutions.
Sales Execution:
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, from initial engagement to contract negotiation and closing.
Develop and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that showcase the value of SFG20 solutions.
Effectively manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and proactive risk mitigation.
Essential experience
5+ years of experience in SaaS sales and strategic account management, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue and retention targets.
Strong background in managing Enterprise client relationships, renewals, and software adoption.
Demonstrated ability to drive high-value deals, manage complex sales cycles, and navigate contract negotiations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the value of complex SaaS solutions
A deep understanding of the customer journey and the ability to tailor your approach to each client's needs.
Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot or similar) to track performance and drive engagement
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
Curious, innovative, and eager to learn. With a competitive mindset and a strong desire to win.
Experience forecasting pipeline, handling objections, and delivering innovative solutions to client challenges.
Demonstrable experience of handling objections and finding solutions to customer pain points
Desirable
Experience in facilities management or compliance-related industries is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of SFG20 would be desirable but not essential
Additional Information
All candidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK. We are unfortunately not able to offer sponsorship. Documentary evidence will be required.
