A leading building consultancy firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Energy Modelling and Sustainability Consultant to join its London-based team. This role sits within a recently established specialist service focused on supporting building consultancy and sustainability teams with advanced MEP input and technical design expertise. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering building performance modelling across a commercial real estate portfolio, supporting net-zero carbon strategies and improving energy efficiency through advanced simulation and analysis.
Key Responsibilities - Lead energy modelling and building physics analysis to optimise building performance - Develop and implement detailed building and HVAC system models - Conduct thermal comfort, daylighting, natural ventilation, and overheating risk assessments - Produce and lodge commercial EPCs - Collaborate with design teams to integrate low-carbon and energy-efficient strategies into projects - Identify and support decarbonisation opportunities across existing portfolios - Work closely with surveyors, architects, engineers, and sustainability specialists - Support certification processes including BREEAM, NABERS, LEED, WELL, and Net Zero Carbon - Provide technical input into ESG reporting and complia...
