Electrical Project EngineerLocation:Blackfriars, LondonProjects:High-end office fit out and hotel refurbishmentSalary:£60-65k, pension, travel, bonusWe are recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer to join a well-established building services arm of a main contractor delivering two high-profile projects in Blackfriars.These opportunities are ideal for ambitious building services professionals with around 3-5 years' experience who are looking to develop their careers on technically interesting schemes with strong senior support and genuine progression.Current projects include:£15m MEP office fit out£17m MEP hotel refurbishmentThis role would suit someone who wants broad exposure across design coordination, procurement, and project delivery, rather than being limited to a single narrow area.The roleWorking closely with senior project and MEP teams, you will support the delivery of electrical packages from pre-construction through to installation, commissioning and handover.Responsibilities will include:Assisting with design coordination across consultants, subcontractors and internal teamsSupporting procurement of MEP (Mechanical, electrical, plumbing) packages and subcontractor managementReviewing drawings, technical submissions and specificationsMonitoring progress against programmeHelping maintain quality, compliance and health and safety standards on siteSupporting commissioning, snagging and handover activitiesBuilding strong working relationships with project stakeholdersWhat we are looking for3-5 years' experience within Electrical Contracting / EngineeeringHNC, HND or degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similarA broad understanding of procurement, design and project deliveryStrong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitudeSomeone energetic, organised and keen to developIdeally some exposure to fit out, refurbishment, commercial or hospitality projectsWhy apply?Opportunity to work on high-profile central London projectsBroad project exposure across the full lifecycleStrong career development potentialSupportive team environmentLong-term opportunity with a respected contractorIf you are looking for the next step in your MEP career and want to be involved in landmark London projects, apply now or get in touch for a confidential discussion.JBRP1_UKTJ
