Role: Electrical and Mechanical Technician
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £30,000 rising to £36,000 after 3-month probationary period
My client is looking for a hands-on Electrical and Mechanical Technician to join a skilled in-house engineering team. This is a varied workshop-based role focused on the inspection, servicing, and repair of pumps and equipment.
You will carry out detailed inspections, follow technical procedures and work instructions, and complete electro-mechanical repairs to ensure equipment is returned to full working order. The role also involves maintaining strong customer relationships and providing technical updates where required.
Responsibilities include:
Inspect, service, and repair pumping equipment and related systems Carry out electro-mechanical fault finding and repairs Follow strict procedures and quality standards in all work undertaken Complete service reports and ensure accurate record keeping (GRNs, tracking, disposal processes) Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams on technical matters Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workshop environment Occasional UK site visits (company van provided)
Skills & Experience:
Minimum Level 3 engineering/technical qualification At least 3 years' experience in a hands-on workshop/service engineering role Electrically competent with strong fault-finding ability Practical understanding of motors, pumps, or rotating e...
