Gully/Drainage Operative Position\nVector is currently seeking Gully/Drainage Operatives to join our client, a tier one main contractor, at their depot near Purley, Croydon.\nThis will begin on a temporary with a view to permanent employment.\nJob Description\nIn this role, you will work in tandem with an HGV Driver as part of a two-person team. Your primary responsibility will be operating a vacuum hose and jetting equipment to clear roadside drains, ensuring they remain unblocked. This job is physically demanding due to the frequent lifting of drain covers.\nRequirements\n * Previous experience within drainage or highways is desirable but not essential\n * Access to personal transportation, as the depot is not easily reachable via public transit.\n * High Pressure Water Jetting (desirable)\nShifts\nMonday to Friday - 50 hours per week\nNights - 5pm - 3:30am (start and finish times may vary)\nPay\nNights - £16.25 per hour (PAYE)\nPlease apply now or contact Robert on the phone number below if you would like to know more information
