Gully/Drainage Operative Position Vector is currently seeking Gully/Drainage Operatives to join our client, a tier one main contractor, at their depot near Purley, Croydon. This will begin on a temporary with a view to permanent employment. Job Description In this role, you will work in tandem with an HGV Driver as part of a two-person team. Your primary responsibility will be operating a vacuum hose and jetting equipment to clear roadside drains, ensuring they remain unblocked. This job is physically demanding due to the frequent lifting of drain covers. Requirements * Previous experience within drainage or highways is desirable but not essential * Access to personal transportation, as the depot is not easily reachable via public transit. * High Pressure Water Jetting (desirable) Shifts Monday to Friday - 50 hours per week Nights - 5pm - 3:30am (start and finish times may vary) Pay Nights - £16.25 per hour (PAYE) Please apply now or contact Robert on the phone number below if you would like to know more information
