We are an established Domiciliary Care Agency registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010. For many people the question about domiciliary care does not arise until there is an urgent need. Finding that we or a loved one suddenly needs a care assistant can catch us by surprise. You may think that we have to make a stark choice between living self-sufficiently, without care, or going into a residential home
Job Purpose
To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in a residential or onsite care setting, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met with dignity and respect. The Care Assistant will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and contribute to the overall wellbeing and safety of service users in accordance with individual care plans and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Personal care, feeding and administer medication.
Assisting with shopping and other daily task.
Assistance with catheter care and continence aids
Assistance with nebulizers, inhalers, and oxygen
Assistance with walking and transferring using hoist
Essential Criteria
Experience:
Minimum of 6 months to 1-year experience in a care setting (residential, domiciliary, or healthcare environment)
Right to Work in the UK
Hold a full UK driving license
Willingness to undergo or already possess a valid enhanced DBS check
Availability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or public holidays as needed
Good verbal and written English communication skills, able to interact effectively with service users and team members.
Awareness of safeguarding policies and maintaining confidentiality of service user information
Physically capable of performing care duties, including moving and handling service users.
Ability to work collaboratively within a care team and follow instructions from senior staff.
Qualifications: Possession of a Level 2 or 3 diploma in Health & Social care is preferred. Candidates with Level 2 who are actively working toward Level 3 may be considered.
