Domestic Abuse Practitioner – Newcastle – Immediate Start\n\nBelmont Recruitment are looking for an experienced Domestic Abuse Practitioner to join a specialist service in Newcastle. This is a full-time contract position, offering ongoing work with a supportive team.\n\nKey respnsibilities include:\n\n * Providing specialist support to individuals affected by domestic abuse, including crisis intervention and safety planning.\n\n * Supporting the development and delivery of South Tyneside Safer Accommodation and Outreach Domestic Abuse Service.\n\n * Working in partnership with multi-agency teams, including social services, housing, health professionals, and law enforcement.\n\n * Conducting risk assessments and developing personalised support plans.\n\n * Offering emotional and practical support to clients, helping them access appropriate resources and services.\n\n * Advocating for clients within safeguarding frameworks, ensuring their safety and well-being.\n\nContract Details\n\n * Location: Newcastle\n\n * Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour (dependent on experience)\n\n * Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week\n\n * Duration: Ongoing contract\n\nIn addition to this role, Belmont Recruitment also offers various Domestic Violence contracts in the area.\n\nFor more information or to apply for this position, please don't hesitate to contact Tom Goren at Belmont Recruitment
