Design Technology Teacher Location: East Lancashire Job Type: Temporary (until summer, with potential extension) Key Stages: KS3 and KS4 We are seeking a dynamic Design Technology Teacher to join a vibrant school in East Lancashire. This temporary position is available until the summer, with the possibility of extension. The role involves teaching students at KS3 and KS4 levels, providing them with a comprehensive education in design technology, and fostering creativity and innovation. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative lessons that meet the curriculum standards for design technology. Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure all students are actively engaged. Assess and record students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve. Maintain a safe and tidy classroom environment that is conducive to learning. Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the curriculum and create a dynamic learning environment. Participate in school events and activities related to the subject. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Design Technology at KS3 and KS4 levels. Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and educational practices. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
