Education People has recently partnered with a fast-growing nursery in Bristol to support the recruitment of an experienced and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager / SENCO.This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring leader who is passionate about high-quality childcare, supporting children with additional needs, and helping to build a positive and collaborative team culture within a growing nursery setting.About the RoleThe successful candidate will play akey leadership rolewithin the nursery, supporting the day-to-day management of the setting while working closely with the leadership team.You will bring strong knowledge of SEN processes and procedures, alongside excellent organisational and documentation skills. This position would suit someone with Deputy Manager or Room Leader experience who is confident leading a team and supporting staff development.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the day-to-day leadership and management of the nurseryAct as the SENCO, ensuring appropriate processes, documentation, and support for children with additional needsProvide managerial support and cover for the Safeguarding Lead when requiredLead and support staff to maintain high standards of care and early years educationBuild strong relationships with parents and families, including greeting and meeting parents dailyPromote positive communication and collaboration across the staff teamRequirementsLevel 3 qualification in Early Years (essential)Experience working in an Early Years setting with leadership responsibilitiesStrong knowledge of SEN procedures and documentationConfident leadership skills with the ability to support, motivate, and develop a teamA proactive and positive approach with a genuine passion for high-quality childcareRecruitment ProcessThe recruitment process consists of two stages:Formal Interview A structured interview exploring your experience, leadership style, and approach to early years practice.Observation Session You will spend a couple of hours within the nursery so the team can observe how you interact with children, staff, and the learning environment.BenefitsDavid Lloyd Leisure membership (after successful completion of probation)5.6 weeks annual leaveBirthday day offConvenient access with nearby park & ride facilitiesInterested?If you are a passionate early years professional looking to take thenext step in your leadership career, we would love to hear from you.Education People is committed to connecting talented education professionals with outstanding opportunities across the sector.JBRP1_UKTJ
