Deputy Headteacher - Specialist SEMH Secondary (Behaviour & Attitudes)
Location: Cauldon Lowe / Stoke-on-Trent Area Salary: From £51,700 (MPS/UPS + Leadership Scale)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (Includes Teaching Element)
Are you a leader who can define the character of a school? We are seeking a resilient and emotionally intelligent Deputy Headteacher to join an independent specialist school in Staffordshire. This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Leader who thrives in a trauma-informed environment and wants to lead a team dedicated to boys (11-17) with complex SEMH needs.
The Role:
- Frontline Leadership: Take lead responsibility for Behaviour, Attitudes, and Attendance, ensuring every student feels safe, seen, and supported.
- Lead by Example: You will maintain a teaching element, delivering your subject specialism to GCSE or Vocational level.
- Collaborative Strategy: Work alongside a Regional Executive Head and a dedicated Head of Teaching & Learning to drive outstanding outcomes.
- Agency Partnership: Act as a key point of contact for local authorities, parents, and therapeutic professionals to influence lasting change.

Requirements:
- Full UK QTS and a proven record of "Good" or "Outstanding" teaching.
