During 2026, London Museum will be proud to open the first phase of Smithfield with the General Market and West Poultry Avenue opening to the public.PositionAt this exciting time, we are seeking an exceptional facilities professional as Deputy Head of Estate & Facilities to care for our diverse portfolio of buildings. Capable of inspiring and leading a high‑performing FM team, you will support the opening of the UK's first smart museum, working with the Head of Estate & Facilities to transition from PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) to data‑led maintenance. Responsible for oversight of projects, you will lead on fabric management for the Estate and deliver an outstanding experience for visitors and staff.Key attributesYou will bring a positive, collaborative style and a talent for motivating your team based on excellent people skills, with experience of hard and soft service contract management, project management and public site operations.Required experienceWe are seeking an individual who has proven experience in managing both Hard and Soft FM operations within a comparable complex estate, focusing on outstanding service delivery. You will have experience in managing and mentoring a client‑side FM team, coupled with developing a culture committed to excellence and outstanding customer service.
