London Museum tells the story of the world’s greatest city and its people. We have embarked on an extraordinary journey to create a new museum for London. The museum will sit in atmospheric former market buildings – over 30,000 sqm – at the heart of one of the capital’s most historic and creative quarters, Smithfield. The New Museum project is one of the largest cultural projects in Europe and will transform the museum, Smithfield and the City of London, creating a new cultural quarter for London. At this exciting time, we are seeking an exceptional facilities professional as Deputy Head of Estate & Facilities to care for our diverse portfolio of buildings. Capable of inspiring and leading a high performing FM team, you will support the opening of the UK’s first smart museum, working with the Head of Estate & Facilities to transition from PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) to data-led maintenance. Responsible for oversight of projects, you will lead on fabric management for the Estate and deliver an outstanding experience for visitors and staff.
