We are currently supporting a company that is looking to bring a Customer Services Advisor into their technical support team.\n\nThis role plays a key part in assisting global customers with a range of after-sales queries, including operational challenges. It's ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working collaboratively, and delivering excellent service.\n\nPosition: Customer Services Advisor\n\nHours: Monday-Friday, 7:45am - 5:00pm\n Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour (holiday accrued) - approx. £27,000 per annum\n Location: Reading\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nRespond to technical calls and emails from international customers and internal teams.\nUse the company knowledge base to provide effective solutions.\nProcess and track warranty claims; create import/export documentation and licences.\nMaintain accurate information in the CRM system.\nSupport stock rotation and management in the warranty warehouse.\nTrack outsourced repairs.\nParticipate in team meetings, exhibitions, and installation events.\nMaintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all health & safety procedures.\nEnsure products comply with regulations and are correctly labelled.\nPromote equal opportunities and maintain a respectful working environment.Person Requirements:\n\nAbility to troubleshoot basic technical issues.\nConfident communication skills, especially over the phone.\nFamiliarity with Windows and MS Office.\nStrong teamwork, organisational, and problem-solving skills.\nGCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/Level 4 or equivalent).\nSelf-motivated, resilient, reliable, and results-driven.\nExcellent time management and punctuality.How to Apply:\n For more information or an informal discussion, please contact me at .\n\nWhy Work with Proactive?\n Proactive Global is a specialist recruitment agency focused on engineering, manufacturing, and automation sectors.
