Are you a confident Credit Controller with strong customer service skills and a passion for reducing debt and building strong client relationships? An established, family-oriented distributor based in Gloucester is looking for a proactive Credit Controller to join their busy and supportive finance team.

What You'll Be Doing:

Managing a portfolio of B2B customer accounts

Monitoring and chasing outstanding debts

Building positive client relationships via phone and email

Allocating payments and processing refunds

Handling account queries and liaising with internal departments

Performing reconciliations and generating monthly aged debt reports

Opening, maintaining, and closing customer accounts

Releasing orders and managing credit holds efficiently

What You'll Bring:

Experience in a credit control or similar finance role

Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills

Attention to detail with an analytical mindset

Team-focused approach and confidence using data entry software
