The Role As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in protecting Grayce’s cash flow by managing the end‑to‑end credit control process. You'll take ownership of invoicing, debt collection, reconciliations, and stakeholder communication, ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and accurately. Key Responsibilities Credit control & receivables management
Maintaining accurate customer accounts Proactively following up on outstanding invoices and resolving customer queries Reducing debtor days and supporting cashflow forecasting
Cash allocation & reconciliation
Allocating customer payments with accuracy Reconciling accounts and investigating discrepancies Supporting month‑end close
Reporting & controls
Preparing weekly and monthly aged debt reports Highlighting high‑risk accounts and recommending actions Supporting audit requirements related to receivables and revenue
Stakeholder collaboration
Working in close collaboration with Sales, Operations and Finance Supporting the setup of new customers and credit checks Developing and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Other finance operations support
Supporting wider finance operations as required Providing cover for accounts payable and expense processing Assisting with finance process improvements and supporting finance projects
About You You're detail‑driven, organised, and proactive in managing your own workload. You're comfortable working independently, prioritising to meet deadlines, and confidently escalating issues when needed. With strong problem‑solving skills and a go‑getter attitude, you take a practical approach to driving outcomes. Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in a similar credit control or finance role AAT qualified or working towards (preferred) 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Experience with accounting systems – Sage Intacct is a bonus
