Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (Northamptonshire)

Link3 Recruitment are currently seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in Northamptonshire on a day-to-day, short-term, or long-term basis.

This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in secondary education who is an experienced educator or a recent graduate with a strong subject background, this is your chance to make a real impact in the classroom. Must be confident in managing a classroom and supporting pupils’ learning in the absence of the class teacher.

The Role:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
• Follow school policies and procedures
• Support pupils to remain engaged and on task
• Provide feedback to teaching staff where required

Requirements:

• Understanding of the KS3/KS4 curriculum
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Confidence leading a class independently
• Adaptable, professional, and reliable
• Experience in education or a genuine desire to work with young people
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) — on the Update Service or willing to apply
• Minimum GCSE qualifications for roles below Cover Supervisor level
