About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a key role in maintaining learning continuity by supervising lessons during teacher absences. You won’t be expected to teach new content, but you’ll ensure students remain on task and engaged with their learning. Your ability to manage classrooms and build rapport with pupils will be instrumental in your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-set lessons and maintain classroom order

• Support pupils across Key Stages 3–5, and in SEN or primary settings as required

• Encourage positive behaviour and a respectful learning environment

• Liaise with teaching staff and communicate effectively with students

Requirements • Experienced in working with young people or in educational settings

• Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills

• Reliable, proactive, and an excellent communicator

• Flexible and adaptable to varied classroom settings and age groups
