Cover Supervisor – Business Studies (Full-Time, Temporary)

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor for Business Studies, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You will be responsible for:

• Supervising Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a calm, focused learning environment

• Delivering pre-prepared lesson content and supporting students to stay on task

• Quickly getting up to speed with the Business Studies curriculum through independent research and collaboration with department staff

• Supporting students with a range of abilities, including those with additional learning needs

This role suits confident graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover staff looking to develop subject-specific classroom experience in a secondary setting.
