Job Title: SEN Tutor Core Subjects (Rochdale) Location: Rochdale Pay Rate: GBP25 per hour (starting rate) Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | 20 hours per week

Are you a dedicated and compassionate tutor with experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently looking for a skilled SEN Tutor to join our team in Rochdale. This role offers a chance to work with students who have Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and those working below expected levels, helping them achieve their academic potential in a supportive, tailored environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-to-one GCSE Maths and English lessons, tailored to SEN learning profiles. Adapt lesson plans to meet the emotional and academic needs of students. Help students build their subject knowledge, develop study skills, and increase exam confidence. Create a safe, nurturing, and consistent learning environment where students feel supported. Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to parents, carers, or professionals when needed.

Essential Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring in Maths or English. Experience working with SEN students in one-on-one or small group settings. Right to work in the UK. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).

Desirable Qualifications:

PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience with students who have Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
