Job Title: SEN Tutor Core Subjects (Oldham)
Location: Oldham
Pay Rate: GBP25 per hour (starting rate)
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | 20 hours per week

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Tutor to support students in Oldham who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and those working below expected levels. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-to-one GCSE Maths and English lessons, tailored to the unique needs of SEN students.
Adapt lessons and teaching methods to support emotional regulation and various learning styles.
Help students build subject knowledge, improve study skills, and enhance exam confidence.
Establish strong and trusting relationships with students to create a safe, supportive learning environment.
Track progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents/carers or professionals as necessary.

Essential Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths or English.
Experience working with SEN students in one-to-one or small group settings.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).

Desirable Qualifications:

PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience with students who have Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
