Job Title: SEN Tutor Core Subjects (Wythenshawe, South Manchester)
Location: Wythenshawe, South Manchester
Pay Rate: GBP25 per hour (starting rate)
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | 20 hours per week

Were looking for a dedicated and empathetic SEN Tutor to join our team in the Wythenshawe area of South Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and those working below expected levels. If you have the passion and experience to make a real difference in students lives, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one GCSE Maths and English lessons tailored to the specific needs of SEN students.
Adapt lesson content and teaching pace to support emotional regulation and individual learning styles.
Help students build their subject knowledge, develop study skills, and boost exam confidence.
Build strong, trusting relationships with students to foster a safe and supportive learning environment.
Monitor and track progress, providing regular feedback to parents, carers, or professionals as required.

Essential Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring in Maths or English.
Experience working with SEN students in a one-on-one or small group setting.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).

Desirable Qualifications:

PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience with students with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
