Our client, a well-established and growing legal practice based in South Wales, is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join their team. The Ideal Candidate
Our client is looking for a proactive and commercially aware Conveyancer to take ownership of a varied caseload of residential or commercial property matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth transactions, maintaining compliance, and building strong relationships with clients and third parties.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who is confident working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management
- Manage a full caseload of residential or commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion
- Handle freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, transfers, and refinancing matters
Legal & Technical Delivery
- Conduct title checks, searches, and enquiries, raising requisitions where necessary
- Draft, review, and prepare contracts, transfers, leases, and associated legal documentation
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, estate agents, lenders, surveyors, and other solicitors
- Provide clear, timely updates and maintain excellent client care throughout the transaction lifecycle
Compliance & Process Management
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including AML checks and internal policies
- Manage exchange of contracts, completions, and post-completion processes, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry registrations
Organisation & Administration
- Maintain accurate file records and case management systems
- Proactively manage deadlines and progress transactions efficiently
Ideal Background & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in residential or commercial conveyancing
- Experience managing a full caseload independently
- Strong understanding of property transactions, land law, and conveyancing processes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable
- Licensed Conveyancer, xbpsjku Chartered Legal Executive, or Solicitor
- Knowledge of AML regulations, SDLT requirements, and Land Registry procedures
- Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office

- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive and able to take ownership of workload
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
