You will like\n\nManaging decarbonisation contracts & energy retrofit projects from Oxford office for South East region for a reputable family-owned property & maintenance contractor with UK wide coverage for notable public and private sector clients.\n\nYou will like\n\nThe Contracts Manager/Projects Manager job itself where you will be To ensure the effective delivery of retrofit solutions in line with each client’s commitments to external funders, as well as energy projects including wall and loft insulation, window and door replacements, ventilation and draughtproofing, low/no carbon heating, lighting, and energy installations. More specifically:\n\nLead and manage retrofit contracts from inception to completion, ensuring projects meet client requirements, budgets, and deadlines.\n\t\nPreparation of programmes of work and management of operational delivery within agreed budgets, Objectives, and targets.\n\t\nTo implement and ensure compliance with the company health, safety and welfare and employment policies and legislation.\n\t\nTo understand the Contract and company’s obligations and ensure requirements are met.\n\t\nTo develop excellent relationships with client representatives, , and all stakeholders.\n\t\nTo ensure ongoing full compliance of projects/works e.g., Electrical, Gas Regulations, Building\n\t\nRegulations, ECO and other funding sources, PAS2030/2035.\n\t\nEnsure all client enquiries, issues and requests are actioned within appropriate timescales.\n\t\nEffective management of engineers and sub-contractors, providing support on technical issues and performance management.\n\t\nFacilitating team meetings to include performance/operational delivery of reviews, H& S\n\t\ninformation, company updates and relevant/required training and guidance.\n\t\nTo undertake site inspections to continuously monitor health and safety, quality of work and overall productivity.\n\t\nChecking and preparing site reports, designs, and drawings.\n\t\nTo develop relationships with commercial team\n\n*Full job description available for shortlisted candidates prior to interview\n\nYou will have\n\nTo be successful as Contracts Manager/Projects Manager, you will have 5+years’ experience in managing retrofit, construction, or energy efficiency projects. Plus a healthy mix of the following:\n\nStrong knowledge of retrofit standards (PAS2030/2035, ECO), building regulations, and energy saving technologies.\n\t\nExperience developed from time served apprenticeship through to Site Management\n\t\nSite Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)\n\t\nIOSH Managing Safely\n\t\nCSCS Managers category\n\t\nKnowledge of Temporary Works Procedures\n\t\nKnowledge and understanding of site admin methods and practices\n\t\nAbility to interpret drawings and specifications\n\t\nGood commercial awareness, ability to identify variations to contract\n\t\nExcellent knowledge of construction methods, technology and materials\n\t\nKnowledge of IT Applications ranging from Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Power Project\n\t\nA HSE recognized First Aid at work qualification\n\t\nFull UK driving licence \n\nYou will get\n\nAs Contracts Manager/Projects Manager, you will receive salary of £50K+ Car allowance + Bonus + Benefits:\n\nCar allowance £5K-£6.5K\n\t\n31 holidays including public holidays which increases with length of service.\n\t\nPaid maternity and paid paternity leave.\n\t\nLife Assurance cover and Pension contributions\n\nYou can apply\n\nTo the Contracts Manager/Projects Manager by pushing the button on this job posting (recommended), or by sending CV in confidence to (url removed).\n\nUK_MS
