With a strong presence across international markets, this firm is committed to excellence, innovation, and internal career growth. The team is supportive, fast-paced, and deeply values precision and professionalism.
Role Overview
Seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join the firm’s Global Services team. This is a critical role within the legal risk and compliance function, responsible for ensuring that new client matters do not present conflicts of interest. You’ll work closely with attorneys and internal stakeholders across the globe, supporting the intake of new business and maintaining the firm’s ethical standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of legal conflicts experience or a background in legal research, paralegal work, or legal assistant roles, looking to grow within a structured and well-resourced team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct conflict checks using internal databases and third-party research tools.
- Analyse and interpret conflict search results, identifying potential issues.
- Liaise with attorneys and internal teams to clarify and resolve conflicts.
- Research corporate structures and management profiles using external sources.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in all conflict reports and documentation.
- Support the intake process by reviewing new matter requests and verifying client information.
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to senior team members or legal counsel.
- Contribute to process improvements and support training of junior team members.
Candidate Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a conflicts analyst, paralegal, or legal assistant role (ideally within a large law firm or professional services environment).
- Strong research and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with tools such as Aderant, Dun & Bradstreet, and Hoovers is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion.
- Degree-qualified (law or related field preferred).
Benefits with Role
- Competitive salary in the range of £55,000–£60,000.
- This role can predominantly be remote, but has to be commutable to the London office.
- Clear and structured career progression within a large, international conflicts team.
- Exposure to global legal operations and high-profile matters.
- Supportive team culture with opportunities for internal mobility and promotion.
- Fully virtual interview process.
- Opportunity to work with a firm that values internal development and long-term career growth.
