I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Compliance Auditor who can join a leading Food Manufacturer. The business is commutable from Grimsby, Scunthorpe & the surrounding areas. Duties
Conduct comprehensive audits of various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Review and assess documentation, processes, and systems for adherence to quality assurance standards. Identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency. Prepare detailed audit reports summarising findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions. Collaborate with department heads to implement compliance improvements and monitor progress. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards that impact compliance practices. Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters and best practices. Conduct traceability audits and be confident to present findings. Complete gap analysis on customers' codes of practice.
Requirements
Proven experience in auditing or quality assurance roles is essential. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings clearly. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A proactive approach to problem‑solving with a focus on continuous improvement. Familiarity with compliance software tools is advantageous but not mandatory.
