Compliance Auditor

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Compliance Auditor who can join a leading Food Manufacturer.

The business is commutable from Grimsby, Scunthorpe & the surrounding areas.

Duties

* Conduct comprehensive audits of various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

* Review and assess documentation, processes, and systems for adherence to quality assurance standards.

* Identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency.

* Prepare detailed audit reports summarising findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.

* Collaborate with department heads to implement compliance improvements and monitor progress.

* Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards that impact compliance practices.

* Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters and best practices.

* Conduct traceability audits and be confident to present

* Complete GAP analysis on customers codes of practice

Requirements

* Proven experience in auditing or quality assurance roles is essential.

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings clearly.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

* A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.

* Familiarity with compliance software tools is advantageous but not mandatory.
