Responsibilities:
Financial management:
- Financial statement: Create balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements to reflect the Company's financial health. - Budgeting and forecasting: They develop budgets and financial forecasts to guide the company's financial planning.
Compliance and reporting:
- Tax compliance: Ensure that the company complies with tax laws and regulations, preparing necessary tax returns and filings. - Auditing: Conduct internal audits to verify the accuracy of financial records and ensure compliance with legal standards.
Financial analysis:
- Analyse financial data: Evaluate financial data to assess profitability, risk and cash flow, providing insights for decision-making. - Identify trends: Analyse historical data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving financial performance.
Advisory role:
- Financial advice: Offer strategic advice on financial matters, helping management make informed decisions regarding investments and expenditures. - Risk management: Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company's financial stability.
Operational support:
- Managing payroll: Handle payroll, processing, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. - Maintaining financial records: Oversee the maintenance of accurate financial records, using accounting software to streamline processes.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 10 years experience working within an Accountant role.
Skills/Knowledge
- Excellent written non-verbal and verbal communication skills including grammar and punctuation - Advanced level or higher in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook - Advanced knowledge of Excel Marcos and SQL queries - Reliable and punctual - Able to adapt to change - Willing to learn - Flexible - Positive attitude - Self-motivator - Able to meet set deadlines - Flexible approach to working hours - Ability to promote a professional image for the company at all times - Ability to travel to other locations where needed for training / support
This role will be based at out of Head Office Monday - Friday.
