This position focuses on the electrical installation, inspection and testing of Solar PV systems on commercial properties. Role Overview As aSolar PV Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, inspection and testing of Solar PV systems across commercial sites. TheElectricianwill ensure all systems are installed safely, efficiently and in line with current electrical regulations. The role will involve working as part of a dedicated engineering team and attending sites across the region, with occasional travel and overnight stays when required. Key Responsibilities Electrical installation of commercial Solar PV systems Inspection, testing and commissioning of installations Carrying out electrical works in line with industry regulations and safety standards Working closely with site teams and engineers on renewable energy projects Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within project timescales Providing professional communication with clients and site managers when required We are looking for an Electrician who has: City & Guilds Level 3 qualifiedElectrician(apprentice trained) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations ECS Gold Card (JIB) or equivalent Experience working on commercial electrical installations Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Full UK driving licence Willingness to travel and stay away when required Desirable Experience 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification IPAF or PASMA certification Previous Solar PV experience (training can be provided) Whats on Offer Annual salary £40,000 £45,000 8% annual bonus scheme Company van and fuel card provided £50 per night stay-away bonus £25 daily food allowance when staying away 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising with service) Birthday day off Pension with employer contributions Fully provided tools, PPE and uniform Discounted gym membership Health cash plan Location & Coverage This role covers commercial sites across the South of England. xehkeey Travel will be required, with occasional overnight stays depending on project location.
