We are currently seeking aCommercial Solar PV Electricianfor a permanent role working across commercial sites in the South of England. This position focuses on the electrical installation, inspection and testing of Solar PV systems on commercial properties. Role Overview

• As aSolar PV Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, inspection and testing of Solar PV systems across commercial sites. TheElectricianwill ensure all systems are installed safely, efficiently and in line with current electrical regulations.
• The role will involve working as part of a dedicated engineering team and attending sites across the region, with occasional travel and overnight stays when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical installation of commercial Solar PV systems
• Inspection, testing and commissioning of installations
• Carrying out electrical works in line with industry regulations and safety standards
• Working closely with site teams and engineers on renewable energy projects
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within project timescales
• Providing professional communication with clients and site managers when required

We are looking for an Electrician who has:

• City & Guilds Level 3 qualifiedElectrician(apprentice trained)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• ECS Gold Card (JIB) or equivalent
• Experience working on commercial electrical installations
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel and stay away when required

Desirable Experience

• 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification
• IPAF or PASMA certification
• Previous Solar PV experience (training can be provided)
