Air Conditioning Engineer ‘Commercial & Residential’

Swindon, Wiltshire (travel across Home Counties, South West & South East)

Monday to Thursday - 7:30AM – 5:00PM

Friday - 7:30AM – 4:00PM

We are currently recruiting for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client.

Duties will include:

* Carrying out installation of split, multi-split, cassette, ducted, VRF/VRV and hybrid VRF systems (including associated controls).

* Undertaking servicing, planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs on DX A/C and heat pump systems.

* Completing all necessary documentation, including Field Service Reports, asset registers, commissioning sheets and F-Gas records, as requested by the Senior Mechanical Contracts Managers.

* Supervising all aspects of jobs on site, including labour, materials, subcontractors and programme.

* Meeting deadlines and keeping accurate job records, including variations/extra works, materials used and any delays incurred.

* Ordering parts in the absence of Senior Mechanical Contracts Managers and liaising with suppliers.

* Commissioning, pressure testing, evacuation and charging systems in line with manufacturers’ instructions and current regulations.

* Diagnosing faults on electrical/mechanical/control components and undertaking effective repairs.
