Commercial Property Fee Earner (Hybrid)About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Fee Earner to join a growing boutique legal practice during a period of expansion. This is a newly created role within a developing property department, offering the chance to play a key part in shaping and growing the function.The position is primarily office-based, with hybrid working available (typically one day from home) following a successful probation period, alongside flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will manage a varied and interesting caseload of commercial property matters, including:Acquisition and disposal of commercial and development landAgricultural and rural land transactions, licences, and tenanciesDrafting and negotiating leases (grant, surrender, and variation)Conditional contracts and option agreementsOverage and clawback agreementsProperty sales, purchases, and refinancingTitle reviews and property searchesDeeds of easement and variationVoluntary first registrationsYou will be responsible for running your own caseload with appropriate supervision, while working closely with colleagues to ensure a high standard of client service and timely delivery.What You’ll Be DoingManaging files from instruction through to completionDrafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documentsLiaising directly with clients, agents, and third partiesConducting title checks and reviewing search resultsEnsuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirementsCollaborating with a small, supportive teamAbout YouAt least 3 years’ experience in commercial property law within a responsible roleAbility to manage a caseload independently and efficientlyStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsA client-focused, pragmatic approach to legal problem-solvingExperience drafting and negotiating a wide range of transactional documentsConfidence in building and maintaining client relationshipsProficiency with legal research tools and case management systemsAbility to work collaboratively within a close-knit teamQualificationsQualified Solicitor (3+ PQE), CILEX (3+ PQE), orExperienced Paralegal with substantial commercial property experienceAgricultural or rural property experience is advantageous but not essential, as training and ongoing support will be provided.What’s on OfferCompetitive salary (dependent on experience)Hybrid working (post-probation)Flexible working arrangementsOpportunity to join and help shape a growing departmentOngoing training and development supportSupportive and collaborative team environmentHow to ApplyTo express your interest, please submit your CV to Steph at Simpson Judge #J-18808-Ljbffr
